Manley Platinum Series TURBO TUFF Pistons for the 2004-2016 Subaru 2.5 liter, DOHC EJ255/EJ257 motor are designed to withstand the high stress and pressures of racing applications. By incorporating proven design enhancements of their "Formula-Won" piston forging, Manley has created the ultimate piston to withstand the rigors of the highest boosted and stressed applications yet still run "quietly" and trouble-free for the daily driver. The pistons are machined from high strength 2618 forgings. Each design is lightweight yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Perfect ring groove to skirt squareness is achieved through Manley's unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. Round wire locks, tool steel wrist pins, and rings are included with every set at no additional charge. The 99.50mm (GRADE A) bore with 8.5:1 compression ratio is best suited for blocks in new condition being used for upgraded turbocharger running medium to high boost levels.

These pistons feature skirt diameters that correspond to the OEM Grade A bores resulting in a piston to wall clearance range of .0023" - .0031". Check the bore grades on the top of your block and order the appropriate quantities of Grade A or B pistons. (Sold as -1 individual pieces, not sets.)
