The RD-Series Cold Air Intake System for the 2001-2003 Mazda Protégé 5 is designed to maximize mid-range power and is CARB-approved for 2001-2003 models. (CARB EO#D-476-4) This intake system strategically places the intake tube behind the front bumper to draw colder, denser air. Installing this intake system is dyno-proven to provide a +6.1 HP gain.
