AP Racing Formula Brake Kits

AP Racing Formula Big Brake Upgrade Kits feature high-strength, lightweight, pressure-cast aluminum alloy body 4- or 6-piston calipers. These calipers have a 2-piece design for maximum rigidity in a streetable caliper and use a fixed radial mount for best pedal feel. Each AP Racing caliper has sequential pistons to minimize pad taper and maximize pad area. Anti-knock back and dust seals are included for consistent, firm pedal that makes these kits useable for everyday driving. The kit also has AP Racing modular brake discs that offer exceptional performance and are the perfect match for the included calipers. The discs have directional curved vanes for maximum cooling and aluminum alloy hats to handle the heat. Each disc is slotted for aggressive pad bite and additional cooling. Thes kit is matched with virtually fade-free Ferodo DS2500 brake pads which are excellent on the everyday street and occassional track days. Topping it all off are AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1 brake fluid and DOT-compliant/TÜV-approved stainless steel lines that provide a huge improvement in pedal feel and stiffness.
